A little background first, "yourtripstore" began as a travel counseling service for expats living in Beijing. Soon we found that our happy travelers were sending our contact details to their friends around the world! Our extra special attention to customers’ travel needs and wants proved to be exactly what these discriminating travelers wanted.

Our President’s position is co-chaired by a local Chinese travel management expert with 30 years experience, and by a Canadian who has been resident in Beijing for over thirteen years. Our experts have many years of traveling experience in China and around the world. The support staff of “yourtripstore” is young, dedicated and well-educated. We understand China. We understand the discriminating traveler, we understand you.

While we never promise a rose garden where there are only brambles, we do make every effort to provide the best value for money spent.

Speaking of money, you will not find prices listed on all itineraries. The reason is simple, prices time expire, they are guestimates at best. We are very happy to discuss costs for private travel and for tours with serious travelers after we discuss appropriate itineraries.

Speaking of itineraries, you will not find complete itineraries on this website. The reason is that we are constantly researching and making improvements on our journeys. We have some secret ingredients included to keep you pleasantly surprised.

The first four live links give you an idea of the various travel options open to you. Individual itineraries are limitless, it is normally best to select a travel package or at least a destination that others frequent.

Our ‘China Expat Travel’ section focuses on expatriates resident in China and details some options for weekend travel, weeklong travel, and longer holidays (10+ days; including an option for a 39-day tour in Gansu, Qinghai, and Sichuan provinces!).

‘Special and Exotic Travel Packages’ features unusual travel of significant historical and cultural impact such as ‘Journey to the West’ on the Chinese Silk Road, Taklamakan Adventure (a camel safari is included) along the southern Silk Road, and Tibetan New Year Celebrations, to mention a few.
