1-31 October – The Ultimate Silk Road Adventure

This incredible journey will take you from Jiayuguan to Dunhuang, on to Turpan and Urumqi, Kashgar and Hotan.  A seven day camel trip into the Taklamakan in search of an ancient city, followed by more real adventure along the southern Silk Road, finally arriving again in Dunhuang.  We will return to Beijing with tales to last a lifetime.

1-16 October – A Great Silk Road Journey

This wonderful journey will explore the northern route from Jiayuguan to Kashgar, and swing south for an easy introduction to the southern Silk Road.

12-31 October – Taklamakan Desert Adventure

This is noted as a hard adventure.  We start out in Kashgar with introductory lectures and preparations for a seven day camel trip which will start from Hotan into the depths of the desert to visit an ancient city.  We continue along the desert on the southern route exploring several other archeological sites, finally arriving in Dunhuang for a bit of relaxation with a shower and a gin and tonic!  And back to Beijing for final return to your own country.
